I grew up in mountains of Brevard, NC. My family has had a farm since 1901. Over the years we have had a dairy, tree farm and grew tobacco. As agriculture has changed so has the family farm. We have always had beef cattle and continue to run about 80 head. We have a corn maze "The Blue Ridge Corn Maze", that we operate July through October. We also have about 50 head of meat goats. I grew up around horses and worked for two years riding horses for Las Praderas Farms with Paso Finos and as a vet technician. before deciding to go to college. I went to college in Alabama for 1 1/2 years and then transferred to Clemson, were I obtained a B. S. in Ag Education from Clemson and continued working through college for The Cliffs Communities riding horses, as well as on the Le Master Dairy, which is Clemson's dairy farm. I love riding horses and the sport of rodeo, as well as growing flowers and vegetables. I also have a Blue Heeler dog named Georgia, a Catahoula Leopard named Preacher, 2 donkeys Jeb and Gus and 2 Quarter horses HP and Pepper.
